BU Sorority Suspended for Hazing.

Boston Personal Injury LawyerBoston University suspended sorority Sigma Delta Tau for the rest of 2012, and suspended some of its individual members, after an investigation of a hazing incident revealed that some underage women had been forced to drink alcohol, some to the point of requiring hospitalization. According to Dean of Students Kenneth Elmore, the incident was not isolated, but was in fact a common tradition within the sorority for new initiates. Elmore would not give up the identities of the individual women who were suspended due to privacy concerns, but he did say that no criminal punishments are likely.
