Jerry Sandusky Sentenced To 30-60 Years In Prison.

On Tuesday morning, Judge John Cleland sentenced 68 year-old Jerry Sandusky to a prison term of 30 to 60 years. According to Pennsylvania law, Sandusky is not eligible for parole until he completes the minimum prison term, which means that he will not be released from prison until he is at least 98 years-old.

Jerry Sandusky was the assistant coach for the Penn State College football team. In June of this year, he was found guilty of molesting 10 boys over the course of 15 years. He used a charitable organization to find his victims.

The case has tarnished the reputation of Penn State because Coach Joe Paterno and other school officials apparently covered up the molestation to avoid bad press.

Sandusky continues to maintain his innocence and plans to appeal the decision.
