Jeffrey Mandeville of Falmouth, MA recently crashed his home-built airplane into trees while attempting to find the landing strip. Mandeville was flying the aircraft at Falmouth Airpark last week, and was approaching the landing strip when he got stuck in the canopy of a tree. The plane was a Murphy Rebel, which Mandeville built from a kit. After crashing, Mandeville hopped out of the plane and walked himself down to the Falmouth Hospital emergency room, where he was treated for minor injuries and released.
