but in reality, it\u2019s just plain stupid.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/prXQ7UGcKiI\" width=\"400\" height=\"280\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>For many years, American society has been strongly influenced by the male agenda.\u00a0<strong> Being tough and not showing pain or emotion have been the hallmark of a \u201cman\u2019s man.\u201d<\/strong> Thankfully, that paradigm is shifting.\u00a0 Persevering through pain is an admirable trait when circumstances require it, but when medical attention is ready and available, the decision to refuse it is nothing short of ignorant.<\/p>\n<p>Brittney Berry has worked at a McDonald\u2019s restaurant in Chicago since 2011.\u00a0 Just recently, she and a number of other restaurant employees have filed complaints for incidents relating to <a href=\"https:\/\/gilhoylaw.com\/boston-massachusetts-burn-injury-accident-lawyers-attorneys.php\">burn injuries<\/a> suffered on the job.<\/p>\n<p>According to USA Today, more than 28 civil complaints have been filed against the \u201csuper-size me\u201d fast food giant.\u00a0 The complaints cover 19 cities in total.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The lawsuits, filed with the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), allege that understaffing and pressure to work too fast are the drivers behind the worker injuries.<\/strong> They also allege that many McDonald&#8217;s restaurants lack the basic first-aid or protective gear necessary to ensure workers&#8217;
