Shell and Dupont have been manufacturing Polybutylene, also known as Poly-B, pipes for home installation since the 1970&#8217;s. <strong>The pipes have been found to <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">have <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">crack<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">s<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> and leak<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">s<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>, damaging home owners&#8217; walls, floors, and ceilings<\/strong>.
