A single-engine Piper PA-46 was approaching Preston Smith International Airport when it crashed at around <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2015\/02\/05\/us\/plane-crash-tv-station\/index.html\">7:30 p.m. <\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2015\/02\/05\/us\/plane-crash-tv-station\/index.html\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">on February, 4<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><sup><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">. <\/span><\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"> As it was falling from the sky, the plane hit <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">the <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Cambria, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\"><strong>KCBD radio station&#8217;s transmitter tower.<\/strong> The plane did significant damage to the building and tower, but fortunately no one from KCBD was injured. The plane then crashed into a nearby field.
