A 51 year-old Ohio man, Robert G. Fields, died recently when his motorcycle crashed into a telephone pole. Fields was driving a 2006 Honda Shadow motorcycle, and he was not wearing a helmet. Ohio police report that Fields was probably driving too fast to successfully navigate a curve in the road. After the crash, Fields’s motorcycle burst into flames. Fields sustained head injuries and chest injuries, and he was unresponsive when a witness found him at the scene. A coroner later pronounced Fields dead at the scene of the motorcycle accident.
