The parents of 5 year-old Christian Daley recently were awarded $30 million in a negligence suit against Perfect Place Christian Center in Birmingham, Alabama. According to the lawsuit, Daley was lying down when another child tripped over an uncovered chord, causing a shelf to fall on Daley’s head. The children were at that point entirely unsupervised, and after successfully defending against a motion for summary judgment, a jury trial was required to determine compensatory damages. Daley suffered severe head injuries and his treatment is ongoing. Daley is represented by attorneys David and Dylan Marsh of Marsh, Rickard and Bryan located in Birmingham, Alabama.
